Crew Transfer

One of the services we provide is crew transfer. This service is there to transfer passengers, workers and VIPs from land to sea. We are able to assist you in getting your guests to the boat safely and efficiently. We have a selection of vessels that can be used to perform this function, based on the amount of passengers that must be transferred.

Vanishing Point 2 is our largest catamaran. It can accommodate the capacity of 12 people, with comfortable seating and ample space to store things. There's a galley and restroom facilities, and an bow push-on that allows the vessel secure anchoring onto larger vessels at sea. Purpose Built Ribs

At Northern Rib Hire we have an array of vessels, including specially designed Ribs specifically made for crew transfers. There's our own Ariel, Grumpy and Pampero with comfortable cabins with suspension seats for up to 12 passengers. With high-powered engines they provide quick transfer times that are comfortable, minimize travel time, and reduce any unnecessary time spent for your project.

Diving Vessels

Northern Rib Hire have a variety of dive-friendly vessels in the fleet that includes Ribs as well as Catamarans. Each is capable of performing different tasks under various conditions. Our main dive vessel katabatic was designed specifically for the job and is fitted with a 15kVA generator and wash down facilities for divers and an A frame weighing 750kg that is with a 4 point mooring.

We at Northern Rib Hire we have an array of vessels designed specifically diving, as well as performing other tasks as neccessary. For instance, Katabatic is our most popular diving vessel, which is fitted with a generator of 15 KVA as well as wash down facilities for drivers and an A frame that is capable of mooring at 4 points and rated up to the weight of 750kg. This vessel is perfect for dive trips and well equipped to make your projects easier and more effective.

For ROV operations , we have recently purchased Thumper which is a vessel that is specifically designed for diving surveys as well as ROV operations.

Large Open Deck Space

Another vessel that is commonly used that is suitable for this use is Mistral. This is our biggest open Rib, and has an expansive deck which can accommodate a five man team of divers, including a scuba replacement unit with space for the crew, as well as a company rep. Egress and ingress are simple with the handy diving ladder. For locations in the inland region or that access is limited, we also have smaller Ribs, like Calima and Diablo that are able to be fitted to be used for commercial diving.
